Our division provides teaching and training in pediatric pulmonology to medical students, residents and fellows.
The fellowship training program leads to certification by the board on Pulmonology of the Iranian Board of Pediatrics eligibility in Pediatric Pulmonology. Our training program consists of 24-months of clinical and research training. We accept up to two fellows per year for a 24-months program.
Our Faculty and fellows of the pulmonary Division conduct a  variety of pulmonary research.
 Applied researches currently focuses on:
  • Cystic fibrosis,
  • Primary ciliary dyskinesia
  • Noninvasive and home mechanical ventilation .
  • Orphan lung diseases
 Basic researches in our division currently focus on:
  • The automated CT scan score of bronchiectasis and air trapping in mild to severe cystic fibrosis patients,  
  • Airway and lung tissue engineering
  • Stem cell transplant in lung diseases
